Friends of Swan Lane
Welcome to the Friends of Swan Lane First School page
All carers, guardians, parents, teachers and staff are all more than welcome to come to our meetings
and / or get involved in our activities.
Our Aim
Our aim is to support the school in raising additional funds for projects, materials and events that would otherwise be unable to be carried out.
Over the past few years, we have raised money in a number of ways so you may have seen us around. For example, bake sales, sponsored run events, Christmas raffle, freeze pop Friday’s.
Our hope is to continue to feed into the school with this supplementary income to support and enrich the education for all of our children.
How to get involved
If you feel like you would like to help out with events or become part of the team, we are always on the look out to welcome people into the group so please do not hesitate to get in contact with us by dropping a letter into the school office marked for the attention of the Friends of Swan Lane or emailing us at Friendsofswanlane@outlook.com.
Our current committee consist of: Chair – Kate Unwin, Treasurer Sara George, Secretary Claire Harris, with our staff members currently being Mrs Pearce-King and Mr Batts.
